Connected Meals is a blend of two passions in my life: food and connection. It just made sense to combine them and offer a service and products to families that I haven’t found anywhere else. But first, let me introduce myself.

Hello, and welcome! My name is Shannon, and I live in the Twin Cities with my husband, and our three children. When I was a new mom, I found myself puzzling over how best to feed my family. I wanted everyone to have the nutrition they needed, and foods that satisfied their tastes. Later, I contracted Lyme disease and soon began experiencing gut health issues as well as a stubborn case of SIBO. Shortly thereafter, we discovered one of our children was intolerant of gluten, dairy, and fructose; and another of our children suffered from stomach issues of their own. All these would-be roadblocks ignited a fire in me. I immersed myself in research, determined to find solutions while committed to only making one meal to share each night. I completed coursework through the Nutritional Therapy Association and the Herbal Academy to deepen my understanding of how food and herbalism can support well-being. It paid off, and now we comfortably eat a varied and delicious diet and savor life’s moments together.

As a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), I love connecting with others on their own health journey to support them in their process of achieving their goals. Together, we’ll use client-led coaching to clarify what you need right now, identify what’s been getting in the way, and create a simple and realistic path forward that supports you in making it feel sustainable.

I invite you to take a moment to explore Connected Meals.
